Microgen and SL Corporation Join to Provide High-Volume, High-Performance Business Activity Monitoring for Microgen Aptitude BPMS

September 21, 2007- Software leader Microgen plc has formed a strategic alliance with SL Corporation, provider of a leading real-time monitoring and visualisation platform, to offer extended Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) and visualisation capabilities for Microgen's integrated Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) - Microgen Aptitude using SL's RTView. The partnership brings together two market-leading solutions, both built from the ground up to meet the demands of today's high-volume, high-performance transactional environments.

Microgen's ability to combine BPM, Business Rules and BAM functionality will help its customers to build or extend complex applications that deliver operational efficiency and expedite responsiveness to customer, supplier and market needs. Moreover, this extended solution provides users with the analytical insight necessary to identify bottlenecks and issues within business operations, and address them before they become costly problems.

Microgen Aptitude is a BPM Suite and complex application development tool that uniquely provides extreme transaction processing (XTP) and uses an event-driven architecture.
