  •  Attaching to TIBCO data sources (Hawk, RV, EMS, EMS Admin) and non-TIBCO data sources (XML, SQL)
  •  Defining navigation and drill down
  •  Defining alerts
  •  Creating PDF, Excel, and HTML reports
  •  Deploying the Display Viewer as AJAX thin client, application or applets
  •  Understanding the Data and Display Servers
  •  Archiving data and the Data Historian
  •  Working with Functions

  • Using the Transaction Monitor

Technical Level: 3 (1-5, 5 being most technically challenging)

  •  Familiarity with Windows or UNIX OS highly recommended
  •  Familiarity with Java recommended. Familiarity with TIBCO recommended
     (if using TIBCO as datasource).

Equipment:
During this training course, you will be performing simple exercises on a computer to help you understand our software. We recommend that you bring your own laptop, as you may want to save some of the work that you have done during the course. If you need a loaner system please let us know at least 2-weeks prior the training dates.

Hardware Requirements:
Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or higher processor speed recommended; 400 MHz
minimum required.
RAM: 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended.
Disk Space: 110 megabytes (MB) of available hard disk space.

Software Requirements:
Java SDK: At least Java 1. 5.0_01+
Database: Any relational SQL database (MS Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle)

TIBCO: TIBCO Rendezvous 6.x or higher; TIBCO Hawk 4.x or higher; TIBCO EMS 4.x

Client Site Trainig
Training classes may be conducted at client sites. This alternative may be preferable for multiple attendees and for a greater degree of focus on the client application. Please contact SL for scheduling and pricing information.
